Cloak of Selene
03:25
|
|||
It's been many years since I got to see the sun
Locked away in my cell, I forgot who I once was
Memories of my reflections fade before my blinded eyes
But not the blood on my hands from that fateful full moon night
Have you come to see my fangs
Have you come to see my claws
Have you ever seen a lycanthrope
Stand back and watch in horror
I will tear you limb from limb
Then I will devour you whole
Watch me loose these silver chains
And shrug off this cursed cell
One day I'll break loose from these chains
And you will all pay
For the decimation of my tribe, you will die
They'll never find your remains in this unmarked grave
Many years have passed since that fateful night you killed my kin
Hundreds of you surrounded us with hate and fear in your eyes
That's when you cornered me and I said to you all
Have you come to see my fangs
Have you come to see my claws
Have you ever seen a lycanthrope
Stand back and watch in horror
I will tear you limb from limb
Then I will devour you whole
Watch me loose these silver chains
And shrug off this cursed cell
Break the chains and commence to slaughtering
And the blood will stain the walls
By my hands you all will fall
I'll claim my vengeance
With my aggression and bloodlust
Have you come to see the end

Rise
03:53
|
|||
I come through the gates of Hell, of which is my domain
To conquer and bring pain on all those you hold dear
Can you feel the vile in my hallowed veins
All I want in this sinful life is to bring you pain
Stop screaming, your blood tastes better in silence
I will rise to take what is mine
I'll ravage through your flesh, tearing apart all your remains
You have been marked unholy, your prayers cannot save you now
I have tasted your hatred and your lives taste so sweet
Now that I'm through with you, I grant you death's sweet release
Stop screaming, your blood tastes better in silence
I will rise to take what is mine
Stop screaming, your blood tastes better in silence
I will rise to take what is mine
I have risen to eclipse the horizon
What Hell looks like is no longer a mystery, you'll see
Bloodshed and agony calls forth from me
You were all meant to die, your souls are now mine
Stop screaming, your blood tastes better in silence
I will rise to take what is mine
Stop screaming, your blood tastes better in silence
I will rise to take what is mine
Stop screaming, your blood tastes better in silence
I will rise to take what is mine

The Pyramid I: Landfall
05:42
|
|||
Drift through the darkness of space
Wandering from place to place
Many trials have we passed along the way
Always have we won the day
Crystal pyramid turns red and warns us of the news that these fair
Planetfolk have been crushed and they require aid to save them
Who will bend an ear to their cries filled as they are with anguish
We the merry band will heed their call
We have arrived to this unknown place
At first glance it looks reduced to waste
A ghostly frigate divides the mist
Slow on approach, it does not list
The game played, our souls have they won
Our fate, to perish in the dearth of the sun
The goose is loosed, the missile is fired
A pallid death and a cloak turned to pyre
The spear is thrust, the warrior in flight
To claim the deck and return to light
The skirmish ended, unwritten law
Stake my claim and take five draws
My mind opened, I face my death
Expelled by issuance of my breath
Parchment, trumpet, and enmity
Restructured reality
Deck changed to the thin of the air
Still no closer to neverwhere
The light has returned, an ocean to cross
A message delivered by albatross
The dictator, standing unamused
The dictator, by the noise abused
Sea turns to coast, the waves break over the sand
We have arrived at the end of the land
A jungle before us, the ocean behind
Over the mountains, the city we'll find

Pharisee
03:34
|
|||
Wag your tongue, smog-choked lungs
They called you brave, foot in the grave
They never knew the real you
Your storied grace was just a face
They praised your name—this, your shame
A house of cards will fall so hard
Portray for these: Socrates
You thought them cruel—you were the fool
The tales you told, the men you'd scold
The lash you'd give, the lie you lived
I am you, you are me
Pharisee
Walk with me (Pharisee)
Talk with me (Pharisee)
Hypocrite (Pharisee)
Travesty (Pharisee)
Putrid heart (Pharisee)
Liar's art (Pharisee)
Lust and pride (Pharisee)
Homicide (Pharisee)
They shook your hand, house on sand
You walked so high, built on lies
Teachers laud, deeply flawed
Peers showed ire, your mouth spit fire
They never guessed, just like the rest
Hid in plain sight, put up the fight
In light you'd bask behind the mask
Life was fake, you twisted snake
The tales you told, the men you'd scold
The lash you'd give, the lie you lived
The masses stirred, their acts demurred
The cohort cried, it stoked your pride
The hands you'd strike, head on a spike
How tall the tale, beyond the pale
I am you, you are me
Pharisee
Flesh smells ghastly as it burns
Far too proud to ever learn
Always holier than thou
Whose foot is the shoe on now
Statements uttered, fragrant lies
Why so quick to crucify
What'd you ever hope to gain
Your achievements, down the drain
Gained the whole then lost it all
Cursed with an eternal fall
Boiling blood and skin of ash
Payment due for your abash
Witness torment that you cause
Meditate and give you pause
Vitrified integument
Lest you at no time repent
